I did it! Yay!
I finally posted my first YouTube video! You really just need to do it. Pull off the bandaid and make it happen. What’s the point in saying you have a YouTube channel if there is nothing on it?
I always feared looking stupid, that is ego. Who cares how I look. I want to travel and get out and try everything. So part of that journey is to tell people about it and the best place to do that is on YouTube. It is still the best social platform. I myself spend a lot of time researching things and checking stuff out.
Our lives and journeys change in a heartbeat, so why not tell people about it? Are we meant to be so private or are we meant to live life? I have lived a full life of doing stuff and I want to continue this as I move forward.
It’s about having fun and going beyond the:
Wake up, get out of bed, have a coffee, go for a walk, work, have breakfast, work, have lunch, work, have dinner, watch tv, go to bed and repeat.
I am not saying there is anything wrong with this, it is just not for me. I became a remote worker for a reason.
In 2022, I travelled to Seoul, South Korea, spent some time in Thailand, then travelled to Ireland with my wife. I returned to Ireland, visited the UK, and went on a cruise. When I returned, I learned that I had lost my good friend, business partner, and mentor, Dave Lakhani.
Losing friends and family are hard, even though we know they are still with us. He was quick to remind me that he was not far away.
I intend to try many, many things. One of these things was to track my life on YouTube. The past, present and future. A living autobiography is something that changes along the way. I am sure my life will change as I follow this journey, and I invite you to come along if you choose. Watch the YT videos, read the blog, and join the community. Whatever you do… stretch out of your comfort zone and try something new. Remember, it doesn’t have to be risk or a die, it just needs to be a stretch away from what you normally do.
Try it…
